Brand refresh | equinix
In early 2019, I worked with our art director to refine the Equinix brand, redefining our guidelines and how we employ color, typography, shapes, and imagery. The projected culminated in a website that now serves as the living and breathing touchstone of our brand. I helped establish rules for how elements like the logo chevron can be used, where our logo can be positioned, as well as created the imagery and examples that are seen on the site. Since its launch, the brand website has been a valuable resource that has made educating others on the Equinix brand very clear and easy to digest. The brand website can be viewed here.
trifolds | Equinix
In the fall of 2018, I developed new trifold template and style that has become a key asset for all events. Its succinct and flowing format makes it very easy to consume and understand the key points. We saw great success with this new format throughout 2019 and it has become a highly requested asset type across marketing teams, for both event and non-event use.
email and landing page modules
I helped develop Marketo email and landing page modules (optimized for both desktop and mobile) that are easy to use and make assembling for any type of message a breeze. The system is comprised of over 20 modules that come together to create a highly flexible system with endless possibilities that can be adapted for any need. These modules have streamlined email and landing page creation, empowering users with the ability to construct any type of message with ease.
Talent Acquisition Social media campaign
In 2019, I worked with the Talent Acquisition team to develop a collection of social media banners that would run as a recruiting campaign across LinkedIn. Part of the challenge of this project was curating a gallery of images that both aligned with the Equinix brand and represented the types of candidates the Talent Acquisition team was targeting (new grads, military, finance experts, etc.), as well as worked well in our established banner system. This campaign has been met with great success and the banners have been translated into additional languages for use in other regions, as well as used as the basis for derivative assets such as pull-up banners for recruiting events.
Event and tradeshow booths | Equinix
During my time at Equinix, I have worked on a large number of global event tradeshow booths and associated event support assets. Each booth varies in size and layout, presenting its own unique set of challenges. Some events I have designed booths and related assets for include: Oracle OpenWorld, Gartner Catalyst, AWS ReInvent, Google Next, RSA, Gartner IOCS, Microsoft Inspire, and Cisco Live.
Senior process notebook
For the final project of my senior design class, we were given the challenge to create a notebook that documents our design process from all of the projects of the semester.
The book had to include the prompt, sketches, drafts, final designs, and a reflection of each project from the semester. We also had to design a front cover and table of contents, as well as a résumé and business card to include in our personal books.
The biggest challenge of this project was keeping the layout of the pages consistent throughout the book, such as making all of the sketches pages the same style from project to project.
Overall, I am very happy with the finished product of my book and enjoy having something tangible to show others a glimpse of my senior design class.
